He was also a trusted employe of Palmer's Drug Store for a number of years, and was a member of the Baptist church. Sgt. Walker was one of Greenville's most outstanding young men.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.K. Walker, a sister, Mrs. Charles Pickens of this city, and a half sister, Mrs. R.O. Porter of Point.
