Mrs. Anton H. Schneider, 70, died on New Year’s day at the Holy Family hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Schneider has made her home in this city with her daughter, Mrs. Francis Yindra, 729A South 26th street, since 1930. She was born on May 12, 1873, at Osman, and was married in 1900. Her name before her marriage was Bridget Ellen Burns. Her husband is dead.

Surviving Mrs. Schneider are four daughters, Mrs. Yindra of this city, Mrs. Arthur LaFond of Reif Mills, Miss Ethel Schneider of Milwaukee and Mrs. Paul Wagner of Racine, a son, Harold of Manitowoc and two brothers, Luke Burns of Virginia, Minn., and Michael Burns of Tucson, Ariz.

Mrs. Schneider was a member of the Rosary society at St. Isidor’s church at Osman.

Funeral rites will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 from the Pfeffer funeral home, and at 9 o’clock the Rev. Martin Jaekels will officiate at a requiem high mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
