John Schultz, 75, of 2501 Clark St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Revs. Joseph Mattern and Harold Berryman will concelebrate the funeral liturgy and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Schultz was born July 15, 1902 in Manitowoc, son of the late Ignatius and Alvina Marenda Schultz. He married Helen Schermetzler July 25, 1936 in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reifs Mills. Mr. Schultz was employed with Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. 45 years until his retirement in 1968. He was a member of Boilermakers Union Local 443 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; a daughter and son-in-law, Lucille and Phillip Andrastek of Manitowoc; two brothers, Felix of Milwaukee and Arnold of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Grace) Check of Manitowoc and four grandchildren, Mary Angela, Phillip, John and Joseph and nieces and nephews. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
