Sadie A. Schultz, age 97, a former Manitowoc resident and currently residing with a daughter and son-in-law, Cleoma and John Alvord, in Milwaukee, died Sunday, November 28, 1999, at the Bradly Health Care Center, Milwaukee.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 1999, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Camillus Janas, O.F.M., with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born August 16, 1902, in Antigo, Wis., daughter of the late Simon and Sarah Gerow Brennan. She married Carl Schultz, who preceded her in death. She resided in Manitowoc until 1992, then moved to Milwaukee, to reside with her daughter and son-in-law. Sadie worked for many years at the former Dunnings Grocery in Manitowoc, until her retirement in 1976.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Cleoma and John Alvord, Milwaukee; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Schultz; one son, Robert Priem; one daughter, Lorraine Klapper; one grandson, Dennis Priem; five brothers, and two sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Boniface Catholic Church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation.
