Florence M. Schultz, age 92, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Monday after-noon, June 2, 2003, at the home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Camillus Jams O.F.M. with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born Nov. 28, 1910, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Oscar and Blanche Dueno Bieberitz. Florence attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On April 6, 1931, she married Emil A. Schultz in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death May 3, 1969. Florence was employed at the Dr. Stephen Urban Dental Office as a dental assistant for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Florence was a volunteer at Shady Lane Home and Manitowoc Senior Center for several years.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Joan and John Seidl, Manitowoc; Mary and Richard Welles, Rochester, N.Y.; a very special brother: Harold Bieberitz, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Jeff and Peg Seidl, Manitowoc; Mark and Kathy Seidl, Manitowoc; Nancy and Dennis Mundt, Baltimore, Md.: Steven Welles, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; Thomas Welles and his fiancee: Lisa Cohen, Rochester, N.Y.; Catherine and Tim Welch, Rochester, N.Y.; and 11 great-grandchildren: Brad, Kristina, Marie and Molly Seidl: Jennifer and Kevin Mundt; Caroline, Christine and Mathew Welles: and Colin and Shane Welch. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Lydia and Paul Mrotek: Ruth and Walter Fuog; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul and Martha Bieberitz; and Oscar Bieberitz Jr.; and a sister-in-law: Mrs. Harold (Marie) Bieberitz.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 11 a.m.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Special thanks to the staff on Tower One at St. Mary's Nursing Home whose diligent care kept Florence warm and comfortable; to Sister Rasebia for sitting at Florence's bedside with us for three days and nights; to the staff at Sacred Heart Court Assisted Living who took such good care of Florence and to Dr. Rauschenberger whose medical expertise kept her a vital person who enjoyed life.
