Allan G. Schweigl, age 63, a resident of 1107 Viebahn Stret, Manitowoc, died Saturday, September 18, 1999 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Cenert, Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Camillus Janas, O.F.M., at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc, on Wednesday, September 22, 1999, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Allan was born January 7, 1936 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. His parents were the late Edwin and Lila Dax Schweigl. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954. He then enlisted with the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 1957. He married Nathalie M. Bausch October 11, 1958 in Manitowoc. Allan was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Nathalie three children, Susan (Joe) Gunzel, David Schweigl, and Dan (Katy) Schweigl, all of Manitowoc; a brother, Larry (Barbara) Schweigl of Manitowoc; a sister, Fay Besaw of California; his special dog, Missy; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Agnes and Aaron Bausch.
Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. A prayer service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Paul Kieffer.
Friends may call on Wednesday at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 10:00 a.m.
