Mrs. Elsie C. Siehr, 83, a Manitowoc resident, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 3,, at Manitowoc County Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral home and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James Stamborski will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Siehr, nee Elsie C. Zipperer, was born Feb. 15, 1899, at Whitelaw, daughter of the late John and Theresa Zipperer Zipperer (sic). She was married to Ivan J. Siehr Nov. 9, 1920, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Siehr moved to Manitowoc, where they resided since. He preceded her in death in 1967. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Georgiana Sieehr of Route 1, Maribel; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Mersch of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. Elmer (Mildred) Anderson of Menasha and Sister Anna Mary of Milwaukee; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. A son, Sylvester, five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m. by Father Stamborski.
