Our Dear Lord called Anthony Singer, age 71, of 515 Huron St., Manitowoc, to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, June 23, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 1994, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. with burial in the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born July 26, 1922, in Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and Julia Kaminski Singer. He was educated in the Manitowoc School System. He was employed as a truck driver for Dick Brothers Bakery; he later became employed with Eastman's and Mirro Aluminum Company retiring in 1983. He married Dorothy Haws June 30, 1945, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1974. He then married Emily Foytik Madsen on February 1, 1975, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Emily; one daughter, Julie Mahlik, Manitowoc; one step-son, Carl Madsen, Milwaukee; one step-daughter, Karen Gulbrand, Green Bay; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Dolores Singer, Manitowoc; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Gerald Brandl, Manitowoc, Bonnie and George Neumann, Waunakee, Wis.; one brother-in-law, Eugene Lewis, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy in 1974 and one sister, Dorothy Lewis in 1989.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday led by Father Zbieranski.
