Mary J. Sittman, 80, of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, June 30, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. William Zimmer will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Sittman was born October 27, 1906, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Madigan. She married William Sittman on May 22, 1938 at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1955. Mrs. Sittman was employed at Mirro Aluminum until retiring in 1969 and was also employed with Globe Laundry.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Mary Jane Sittman of Manitowoc, Dale and Rita Sittman of Two Rivers and Terry and Sandy Sittman of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 5 pm to 8 pm Thursday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm by Rev. William Zimmer.
