"WHITEWATER --Mrs. Pearl B. Foster 87, a resident of Whitewater for 69 years died at Medicenter Thursday at 7 a.m.
Pearl Snyder was born Jan. 13, 1890 at New Castle, where she graduated from high school. She later lived in Glenwood Springs.
On March 10, 1906, she married J. B. Foster in Grand Junction. He died.
Mrs. Foster enjoyed arrowhead hunting and fishing and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eva Burke and Mrs. Bertha Brown, both of Whitewater; seven sons, Chester, Bert, and Jonny, all of Whitewater; Raymond of Idaho Springs, Leonard of Menan, Idaho, Norman of Rapid City, S.D.; and Harold of Mancos; 32 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
...Services...Sat. at 2 p.m. in the Callahan-Edfast Chapel with the Rev. Sam Day of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial in the Whitewater Cemetery..."
