Albert Sobiesky, 79, of 1026 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarek will officiate and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Sobiesky was born on Nov. 17, 1891, at Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and Anna Budnik Sobiesky. He married Veronica Kluczekowski at Polonia, Wis. He was employed at the Mirro Aluminum Co., Manitowoc, over 40 years, retiring in 1955. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Eugene, of Manitowoc; two daughters, Sister Mary Gloria of Stevens Point and Mrs. Eugene (Violet) Sanderson of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Tillie Wrobel of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. by the Holy Name Society, members of the parish and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Holy Family Hospital Extended Care Unit.
