Mrs. Adam Specht, 93, of 617 South 27th street, Manitowoc, lifelong resident of the county, died Frday night at the home, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pfeffer funeral home, Manitowoc, and at 9 o'clock at St. Paul Catholic church. The Rev. Clement Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born Cecelia Herman in 1857 in Kossuth and in 1893 was married to Mr. Specht. They came to Manitowoc 57 years ago. Mr. Specht died in 1925. She was a charter member of the St. Paul congregation and a member of the Christian Mothers Altar society.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Albert Hemmer of Manitowoc, Mrs. Matt Martin of Kaukauna, and Mrs. William Stichter of Chicago; two sons, Adam of Fairport, N.Y., and Edward of Manitowoc; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday.
