Elba E. Prue, 80, of 2015 South 9th Street, Manitowoc, died early Wednesday morning, January 15, 1992, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. will preside at the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born February 26, 1911, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Maxillian and Emma Graycarek Arndt. She married Sylvester A. Stanzel on June 19, 1934, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death November 17, 1974. She then married Joseph Prue on October 20, 1976, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph W. Prue of Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Stanzel, Arhtur and Peggy Stanzel, all of Manitowoc; three daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice and James Sevenich of Stevens Point, Grace and Gordy Kaeser of Rockford, Ill., Arline and William Michaels of Madison; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law and her husband, Marge and Edward Salta of Manitowoc; other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her step father, John Klein.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Thursday. Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. led by Father Roman.
