Mrs. Frank Steger, 60, of 1909 Cooper Ave., Sheboygan, and formerly of Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Gerend Funeral Home, 903 N. Sixth St., Sheboygan, and at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Sheboygan. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Steger was born Feb. 19, 1901, at Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late George and Pauline Nuhs Michel. She was married to Frank Steger of Sheboygan June 29, 1925, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. They lived at Sheboygan for a number of years and then moved to Manitowoc in 1942. Mr. Steger was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. until 1948, when he returned to Sheboygan. They resided at Sheboygan since. Mrs. Steger was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Dominic Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Keil and Mrs. James Richgels of Manitowoc, and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited this Friday evening by members of the parish.
