Joseph Strupp, 71, Manitowoc County native, residing at Algoma, died Wednesday morning at Algoma Hospital. He had been moved there the day before following a heart attack at his home.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at PFeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Letz will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Strupp was born at Newton Dec. 31, 1886, son of the late Peter and Tresia Roedig Strupp. He never married. Mr. Strupp worked on the home farm until moving to Algoma in 1944, being employed at Algoma Plywood and veneer Co. He retired Dec. 6, 1952.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Arthur Teitgen, of Manitowoc and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 o’clock this Thursday evening.
