(1881 - 1932)

BENJ. STRUPP, HIGH SCHOOL ENGINEER, DIES
Funeral Services Will Be Held Friday From St. Andrew's

Benjamin Strupp, engineer of the Lincoln high school since it was built in 1922, and prior to that time employed at the Manitowoc Products Co., died last night at the St. Agnes hospital in Fond du Lac. He was fifty years of age. Mr. Strupp underwent an operation at the hospital here several months ago and rallied for a time. But his old condition became aggravated and he was taken to the Fond du Lac hospital a week ago.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 from the home, 1517 South Tenth street and at ten o'clock from the St. Andrew's Catholic church with interment in the Calvary cemetery. The remains were removed to the home this afternoon from the Pfeffer funeral home where they may be viewed up to the time of the funeral.

The deceased was born in Newton and had always made his home in the county. He was married at Athens, Wis. in 1906 to Miss Theresa Brey of that city and soon after their marriage they moved to this city to make their home. For seventeen years he was employed by the Products co., and became engineer at the Lincoln high school when that school was opened in 1922.

Besides the widow, Mr. Strupp is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clara Billings of Michigan and Mrs. Arthur Teitgen of this city, three brothers, Ferdinand and Peter of this city and Joseph of Newton, four nephews, Frederick and Arthur Strupp, Theodore and Chester Teitgen.

He was a member of the Eagles, Holy Name society of St. Andrew's congregation, Foresters and St. Boniface societies.
