Jacob L. Stueber, 69, 824 Jackson St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James DeWitt will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Stueber was born June 27, 1905, at Manitowoc, son of the late Jacob J. and Caroline Riederer Stueber. He attended Manitowoc schools and was a barber until his retirement in 1970. He married Evelyn Flentje Oct. 30, 1928. She preceded him in death in February of 1955. He then married Verona Sievert Dec. 27, 1956. He was a past secretary of the Associated Master Barber and Beauticians; a member of the Journeyman Barber Union, Local 694; and a past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 706. He also was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, a stepson, James Sievert of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Beverly) Greycarek of Manitowoc and Mrs. George (Jane) Waniger, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Aurelia) Meyer Sr., of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home. Eagle Memorial service is at 7 p.m., St. Andrews Parish memorial service at 7:30 p.m., and the Journeymans Barber Union Local 694 at 8:30 p.m.
