Raymond J. Suchocki, age 91, formerly of South 31st street, a resident of Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the center.
Ray was born in the town of Carlton in Kewaunee County on July 31, 1917, son of the late Edward & Vera (Pardowsky) Suchocki. On May 24, 1941, he married the former Eleanor Marie Wilhelm at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He served our county in World War II for three years in the Military Police. Ray had numerous professions prior to becoming a truck driver for A.M.F Paragon Company in Two Rivers, retiring from there in 1980. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and the Manitowoc Senior Center.

Funeral Service for Ray will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. Officiating at the Mass of Christian
Burial will be Rev. Daniel Schuster with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military rites will be accorded by the V.F.W. Otto Oas Post 659 of Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday morning, March 25, 2009, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. At 10:30 a.m. there will a short prayer before proceeding to St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the Suchocki family with funeral arrangements.
Ray's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gary Schmidt and the nurses and staff at Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center for the compassion and care that was given and shown to Ray and his family.
