Arnold E. Tauschek, 75, of 728 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Friday at home.

Funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Donald Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Tauschek was born March 17, 1898, at Manitowoc, son of the late Conrad and Anna Maier Tauschek. He married Rose Drewek Sept. 28, 1922. She preceded him in death Sept. 20, 1956. He then married Ottilia Schuh Dougherty Oct. 8, 1960, at Evanston, Ill. Mr. Tauschek had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Company for 22 years and also by the City of Manitowoc Parks Department prior to his retirement in 1963. He was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Muriel) Hoefert of Kenosha, a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ellen) Ashton of Sherborn, Mass., a step-son, Daniel Dougherty of Des Palines, Ill., two brothers, Richard and Carl of Manitowoc, two sisters, Mrs. Hildegard Novak and Mrs. Leon Maresch of Manitowoc, five grandchildren, on great-grandchild, two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday where a Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
