SUSAN TEPOORTEN
(1857 - 1939)

Mrs. John Tepoorten, 81, of 2804 Meadow Lane, died this noon at the Holy Family hospital. She had been a patient there since a week ago yesterday when she fell in her home and fractured her hip.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the home and at 9 from St. Paul's Catholic church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Tepoorten, nee Susan Braun, was born in Meeme in 1857, and 58 years ago was married to John Tepoorten. They located on a farm in that town. Thirty-nine years ago they moved to this city, where they since resided.

Survivors are the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Bartel and Susan, city; four sons, Fred, George and Joseph, city, John Jr., of Madison; two brothers, Nicholas and Joseph, both of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Weavers of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Joseph Zeglinske, of Milwaukee; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The body may be viewed at the Pfeffer funeral home Wednesday evening and will be moved to the Tepoorten home Thursday morning.

The Holy Name society will meet at 7 o'clock Thursday evening at the home and the Christian Mothers at 7:30 to recite the rosary.
