Mrs. Gerald (Betty) Teteak, Sr., 64, of 1030 East Crescent Drive, Manitowoc, died early Tuesday morning, November 20, 1990 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Daniel J. Felton will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Born Betty Ann Pfeffer, February , 1926 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph T. and Viola P. Schriehart Pfeffer Sr. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1944 and attended the University of Wisconsin Madison and also Mount Mary College of Milwaukee. She married Gerald J. Teteak Sr., May 5, 1951 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mrs. Teteak was an active member of the Twenty Gardeners Club of Manitowoc, a member of the Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Inc.and the National Council of State Garden Clubs Inc. She was also a member of Holy Innocents Christian Women and Manitowoc County Genealogical Society.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Teteak Sr., of Manitowoc; six sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas Teteak of Plymouth, Wisconsin, Timothy and Nancy Teteak of Redmond, Washington, David Teteak of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Daniel Teteak of St. Paul, Minnesota, James Teteak of Los Angeles, California and Gerald Teteak Jr. of Milwaukee; three grandchildren, Colin, Christopher and Kyle Teteak; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Larry Pfeffer of Manitowoc, Joseph and Pauline Pfeffer of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 8 pm Friday, November 23, where a prayer service will be held Friday evening at 7:30 pm.
