Margaret A. Theisen, age 79, of 812 State St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, January 9, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with Rev. William Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
She was born March 18, 1914, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late August and Caroline Kohlbeck Andres. She grew up in Manitowoc attending local schools. Margaret lived at Branch most of her life moving to Manitowoc in 1978. She was married to William J. Theisen June 9, 1936, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death June 17, 1967. She worked for North End Home Care prior to her retirement. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Marlene Theisen, Racine; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elaine and Michael O’Connor, Whitelaw, Susan Wanek, Green Bay; a daughter-in-law and her husband, Charlotte and Eugene Mezera, Janesville; one sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Jack Schultz, Antigo; fifteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard in 1966; two sisters, Helen Duffy and Caroline Grall.
Friends my call at Reinbold & Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11. There will be a parish prayer service this at 11. There will be a parish prayer service this evening at 7 p.m.
