Esther Thielen, age 91, formerly of 1708 Nagel Ave., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 19, 2001, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service was the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born Sept. 17, 1910, in Stockbridge, Wis, daughter of the late John F. and Matilda Franz Hemauer. She married Everett T. Thielen and he preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1965. Esther was employed as the office manager at Dick Bros. Bakery for over 25 years.

Survivors include two nephews, Robert Ecker, Fond du Lac, David Ecker, Manitowoc and special friends, Bernhard and Pearl Mueller, Manitowoc.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
