Verena Kiffmeyer LaZebnick was head nurse at Seton Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio. She married Charles Edward LaZebnick in the early 1920's. They had a child, Margaret Mary LaZebnick on 15 August 1923. Verena contracted tuberculosis through the hospital. She was pregnant with a son, Charles Edward LaZebnick who was born on 15 March 1925 and died 12 April 1925 of "Weakness". Verena died one week after her son. Margaret was then sent to St Joseph's Infant Home or Orphanage (unclear) until her father married Cordelia Price and she returned to her father.
