Charles Tikalsky, 54, of 815 Marshall street, Manitowoc, died Thursday evening at Holy Family hospital following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate with burial in Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Tikalsky was born in 1896 in Reedsville and came to Manitowoc when he was a young man. In 1924 he married the former Mary Singer. He was employed at the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing company for the last 28 years and was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Boniface Catholic church.

Survivors are the wife; son, Paul of Fond du Lac; brother, Frank of Reedsville; sister, Mrs. Charles Novak of Reedsville; and a grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Saturday until time of services. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Reedsville Man Claims Bride Here

At St. Boniface church this morning Rev. Father Peil officiating, Miss Marie daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Singer of this city, and Charles J. Tikalsky of Reedsville were united in marriage. The attending couple were Lydia Kaminsky and A.J. Singer and Julia Kaminsky and Francis Rugowski.

The wedding was celebrated with a dinner and a reception at the home of the bride's parents.

The young couple will make their home here at 1339 S. Seventeenth street, the groom being employed as a factory worker here.
