Earl D. Toomey, 53, of 1620 Division St., Manitowoc, died suddenly Monday afternoon following a heart attack at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Schroeder, in Oconto.

Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Letz will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born in 1897 in Manitowoc and always lived in Manitowoc. He was employed at the Rahr Malting Company for 32 years and was the chief engineer. In 1919, he married Agnes Forst.

Survivors are the wife; two daughters, Mrs. Schroeder, of Oconto and Mrs. John P. Flynn of Chicago; son, Paul, stationed at Camp McCoy; brother, John, Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. H. C. Kallies of Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening and the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Toomey was a member of the Teamsters and Malsters Union, the Holy Name Society, and the Fraternal order of Eagles.
