Mrs. Joseph Trastek, 89, of 1228 South 13th street, died Sunday at her home, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 9 o’clock at the St. Boniface church, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Born Catherine (sic) Korinek in Prague, Bohemia, in 1856, she came here with her parents at the age of six years. She was married to Mr. Trastek 72 years ago. He died in 1928.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Benjamin Trowbridge of Plymouth, Mrs. W. F. Wade of this city; three sons, Frank, Julius and Victor, all of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the St. Theresa society of the St. Boniface church whose members will meet at the funeral home at 7 o’clock tonight to recite the rosary.
