Her husband, Theodor Mueller preceded her in death in 1998.
Verona enjoyed quilting, weaving rugs, crocheting, picking berries, playing card games and making jig saw puzzles. She had a garden for many years and would freeze and can vegetables.
She also worked at many jobs throughout her lifetime~~ one of them being, making sure the feral cats in the yard were well taken care of.
She was a longtime member of St. John Church and one of the many things her family remembers is she always made sure they attended church regularly.
Verona was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include her children: Lois DePouw of Green Bay, WI; Linda (Ralph) Comins of Lena, WI; Louis (Dawn Thomas) Mueller of Lena, WI and Mary Hughes of Pulaski, WI;
6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren;
and many nieces and nephews.

1 daughter Cynthia Piontek
and 1 grandson, Wayne Piontek.
Visitation will take place on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church of Grover N1926 Church Rd. Peshtigo, WI. A funeral service will follow at the church beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Daniel Sargent officiating. Verona will be laid to rest at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
