Donald P. Vandenbusch, 47, of 1308 Phillipen St., Manitowoc, died Monday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James Stamborski will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Vandenbusch was born May 17, 1928, at Manitowoc, son of the late Peter and Ann Frozena Vandenbusch. He resided at Manitowoc all his life. He attended St. Boniface Parochial School and was graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1946. He was a veteran of World War II serving as a technician five with the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948. He married Joan M. Belbeck Oct. 10, 1953, at Manitowoc. Prior to his recent illness, he had been employed at Manitowoc Equipment Works.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Peter, Glenn and Donald, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Judy) Meisner, of Manitowoc and Gladys and Anne, at home; a brother, Leonard, of Manitowoc and two sisters, Mrs. Austin Oesau, of West Allis and Mrs. Robert Wellhoefer, of Manitowoc. A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where a memorial service will be at 8:15 p.m.
