Mrs. Joseph R. Vnuk, 54, of 430 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was a patient six weeks.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Very Rev. Clement Kern officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Vnuk, the former Kathryn M. Mrotek, was born March 3, 1911, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Anton and Josephine Skorch Mrotek. She attended local public schools and resided at Manitowoc all her life. She was married Nov. 6, 1928, to Mr. Vnuk at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was a member of Christian Mothers Altar Society of St. Paul Church.

Surviving are the husband; three brothers, Edward, Victor and Paul, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Adrian LaPoint of Manitowoc and Mrs. Arnold Nowack of Watertown. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by society members and parish.
