Lois M. Walsh, age 64, of 826 S. 23rd Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, March 3, 1992, at the St. Mary's Home in Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M. with burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born August 25, 1927 in Valders, Wis., daughter of Hazel Torrison Meany and the late Francis Meany. She married William A. Walsh on February 7, 1948 at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Manitowoc and he preceded her in death on October 4, 1964. She attended the St. Mary's Parochial School in Clarks Mills and was a graduate of the Manitowoc Lincoln High School Class of 1946. She was employed as a cafeteria manager with the University of Wisconsin Center Manitowoc County Campus for 28 years. Mrs. Walsh was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed following the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Joan Walsh of Manitowoc, Patrick and Bonnie Walsh of Manitowoc; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen and Terry Steiner of New Holstein, Barb Walsh of Manitowoc, Mary Lynn and Bruce Budysz of Manitowoc. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Hazel Meany of Manitowoc; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Betty Meany of Roseville, Minn., Paul and Sharon Meany of Tempe Ariz.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mrs. Joanne Zarn of Manitowoc, Mary and Joe Weir of Stone Mountain, Ga., Jeanice and Conrad Lerum of Plant City, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Patricia and Gordon Nevins of Egg Harbor; 8 grandchildren, Steve, Wendy and Erik Walsh, Beckie, Brian and Rhonda Steiner, Michelle and Travis Budysz. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Claude Meany and one brother-in-law, Jerry Zarn.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Hoe Friday evening from 4 until 9 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Father Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M.
