Earl J. Walsh, 82, of 316 Riverview Dr., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Walsh was born Feb. 20, 1891, at Merrill, Wis., son of the late James and Margaret Dougherty Walsh. He married Elaine M. Boucher Apr. 16, 1921, at Fond du Lac, moving to Manitowoc in 1941. Prior to his retirement in 1957, he had been employed as an inspector in the machine shop at Manitowoc Engineering Co. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88, of Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, James and John, of Manitowoc and David, of Carson City, Calif., a brother, Francis, of Illinois, and seven grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may all at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, where a memorial service will be at 7 p.m.
