Mrs. Donald (Mary) Walske, 52, of 866 N. 18th St., Manitowoc, died late Saturday evening, Dec. 18, at University Hospital, Madison.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. William Zimmer and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Walske, nee Mary T. Gauthier, was born Dec. 11, 1930, at Milwaukee, daughter of Leo and Joan Pawlak Gauthier. She attended parochial schools at Oconto Falls and was graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1947. She was married to Donald G. Walske Feb. 7, 1951, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mrs. Walske had been employed at Mirro Corporation for 21 years. She was very active with Amvets Post No. 99 Auxiliary where she served as president two times, and also as treasurer and historian. She also served with the State Amvets as first vice president, third vice president and state chaplain, and as state president from 1981 to 1962. Mrs. Walske was now serving as alternate national executive committee woman.

Survivors include her husband, Donald G.; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald W. and Evelyn Walske of Two Rivers; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mrs. Jhan (Jean) Lehman and Miss Lynn Walske of Manitowoc; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gauthier of Oconto Falls; four brothers, Leo Gauthier of California, William Gauthier of Iowa, Victor Gauthier of West Bend and Robert Gauthier of Lena; six sisters, Mrs. Charles (Pat) Offutt of Milwaukee, Mrs. Elroy (Joan) Block of Bonduel, Mrs. Leonardo (Marge) Duco of Fox Lake, Ill., Mrs. Richard (Helen) Johnson of New London, Mrs. Howard (Denise) Melecki of Lena, and Miss Susan Gauthier of Oconto Falls, and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Members of the Amvet Post No. 99 will meet as a body at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. by members of the Amvets Auxiliary followed by a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. by Father Zimmer.
