ROSEMARY WATTAWA
(1923 - 2007)

Rosemary M. "Rosy" Wattawa, age 84, of 130 Byrd Ave., Neenah, died early on Tuesday morning, Sept. 4, 2007, at Villa St. Clare, Neenah.

Rosemary was born on May 19, 1923, in Lima, Ohio, daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Isselmann) Wattawa. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, with the class of 1941. She then attended the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc for two years. Rosemary was employed with Manitowoc Engineering Company for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Catholic Women's Club, Natures Own Garden Club and a former member of the Business Professional Women. Rosemary was also a Girl Scout leader for 10 years, and volunteered at Holy Family Hospital for many years. She loved to golf, garden, make crafts and play cards. "Aunt Rosy" showered her nieces, nephews and family with much love, affection and unselfish attention. She overcame many obstacles in her life and was a 15-year breast cancer survivor. Her strong faith and prayers were an inspiration and healing force to her family throughout her life.

Survivors include two nieces: Kathy and Dan Kiel, Neenah; and Kris and Lewe Jossart, Menasha; two nephews: Carl and Karen Einberger, Seattle, Wash.; and Tom Einberger, Appleton; grandnieces and grandnephews: Tyler, Jacob, Katie, Andy, Clare and Thomas. Rosemary was also preceded in death by one sister: Catherine Einberger.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo until the time of the service at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Memorial Behavioral Health.

Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
