He was born December 14, 1945, in Manitowoc, son of the late Clement and Florence Duzeski Weier. Ken was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1964 and Acme School of Engineering in 1967. On July 23, 1966, he married the former Nancy Pollen at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Ken was a lifelong Manitowoc resident and was recently employed at Natural Ovens. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, (TONIGHT), where a Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. by Deacon Robert Drobka.

Our deepest thanks to all our family and friends for their unending love and support. A special thank you to Dr. Barylak, and the critical care nurses at Aurora Medical Center for the dedication and compassion shown to Ken along with Natural Ovens for giving Ken a chance when he needed it. The family would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Lois Terp and the staff at Stangel School for their dedication and support to the family. Ken touched many lives. He was truly an example for courage as he faced a four year battle with cancer, never losing his sense of humor. He never gave up and continued to flight to the very end. He was a caring individual who always thought of others. He never hesitated to visit his friends, sharing his homemade pickles and vegetables from his garden. Ken was a dedicated and loving husband. He was extremely proud of his four children and three grandchildren and openly shared that pride with the many people he came in contact with. He enjoyed camping in Door County with family and friends. His spirit and determination will live on in all of those whose lives he touched.
We will miss you, Grandpa Kody!

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you; that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have over come the world.

Dad, you are our hero and taught us the true meaning of courage. The lessons we learned from you will stay with us forever!
