(1888 - 1964)

Walter Westphal, 75, formerly of Manitowoc, died Monday night at Waukesha Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient a day.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Hurling-Larsen Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waukesha. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Westphal was born Dec. 9, 1888, at Manitowoc, son of the late William and Minnie Westphal. He had been employed 33 years as a coremaker by Waukesha Foundry. He retired 10 years ago. Mr. Westphal was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Church.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, William and Daniel, of Waukesha; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Koloske and Mrs. Delmar Wrensch, of Watertown, Wis.; a half-brother, William Hasenfus, of Marinette; a sister, Mrs. Herman Kohls, of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where the parish vigil will be at 8 p.m.
