(1895 - 1958)

Leo A. Wiczek, 63, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital following an illness of two years.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 8:45 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Rev. E. A. Radey officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

He was born March 16, 1895 in Palonia, Wis., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wiczek. As a young man he operated the homestead farm with his father and in 1921 married the former Clara Orchekowski of Manitowoc and the couple settled here. He was employed for 28 yards (sic) in the Rolling Mills of Mirro Aluminum in Manitowoc, was a veteran of World War I serving with the Army in France, member of the holy Name Society of Holy Innocents Church.

Survivors include his wife; son Daniel of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Jasper of Two Rivers, Mrs. Randall Jackson of Guam and Miss Mary Jane Wiczek of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. John Stockwell of Milwaukee, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Funeral home from 2 p.m. Monday to the time of services. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday by the Holy Name Society and members of the parish.
