Erwin F. Wiesner, 73, of 1617 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. D. L. Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Wiesner was born May 16, 1891, at Manitowoc, son of the late George and Mathilda Karlman Wiesner. The lifelong city resident attended St. Boniface Parochial School and married Anna M. Mally at St. Boniface Church May 20, 1919. Prior to retirement in 1957 he had been employed 40 years as an engineer by Rahr Malting Co. He was a member of Brewers and Malsterers Union Local 297 and of Holy Name Society of St. Boniface Church.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Lee Perrodin, of Sheboygan, a brother, Walter Wiesner, and two sisters, Mrs. John Leist and Mrs. Arthur Klackner, of Manitowoc and two grandchildren, Daniel and Sharon Perrodin, of Sheboygan. Two sons and a brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. by Holy Name Society and St. Boniface Parish members.
