Mrs. Anna M. Wiesner, 96, a resident of St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc, for the past three years, died Friday evening, March 3, 1989 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be presided by Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Wiesner, nee Anna Mary Mally, was born October 1, 1892 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Groehsl Mally. Mrs. Wiesner was a lifelong Manitowoc resident and was a graduate of Manitowoc Grade Schools and the Old Third Ward High School. She married Edwin Wiesner on May 20, 1919, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death August 4, 1964. Mrs. Wiesner had clerked at Schuette Bros. Dept. Store and was a member of Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemarie and Lee Perrodin of Sheboygan; a sister, Miss Eleanor Mally of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Dan Perrodin of Sheboygan, Sharon Schneider of Germantown and two great grandsons, Erik and Kevin Schneider. She was preceded in death by two sons, James at birth and George in 1944; four sisters, Mary Myers, Theresa Popineau, Linda Bouril, Lillion Schwarzenbart and four brothers, Frank, Joe, William and Emil Mally.
Friends may call at St. Paul Catholic church, 9 am Tuesday morning until the time of service at 10 am. There will be no Monday evening visitation. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with arrangements.
