George Wiesner, 24, of 1617 South 12th street, died this morning at the Milwaukee Sanitarium at Wauwatosa. He had been ill for only a month.
Mr. Wiesner was born May 13, 1920 in Manitowoc. He graduated from Lincoln high school in 1939 and worked for two and a half years as a brass welder at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co. yards.
Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Wiesner and one sister, Rose Marie.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 from the Pfeffer funeral home and at nine o'clock from St. Andrew's Catholic church, the Rev. Henry Letz officiating. Burial will be at Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at seven o'clock at the funeral home. The body will be in state from 10 o'clock Wednesday morning until the time of services.
