Mrs. John F. Wimmer, 77, formerly of 704 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Manitowoc County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Wimmer, the former Anna Spaeth, was born April 6, 1890, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Henry and Emma Ebert Spaeth. She was married to John Wimmer Oct. 11, 1910, at St. Joseph Church, Silver Lake, and the couple owned and operated a farm in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids until 1945, locating at Manitowoc. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1960. Mr. Wimmer died Nov. 9, 1966.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Agnes) Klingelsen, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, two sons, Raymond of Manitowoc and Reuben, of Chicago, a brother, Henry, of Cato, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where at 7:30 pm. the Rosary will be recited.
