BERNARD WOLFRAM
(1892 - 1952)

Bernard Wolfram of 3615 Calumet Ave., Manitowoc, former florist and greenhouse operator, died Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of several months. He was 60.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 a.m. Monday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 8 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Wolfram was born Feb. 26, 1892, at Watertown, Wis., and in 1916 married the former Emily Ruzek. The couple moved to Escanaba, Mich., where they lived for two years before settling in Manitowoc. During the war he was employed at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., yards and later began the culture of flowers. He worked in several greenhouses and then formed a florist partnership known as the Fricke-Wolfram Greenhouse. The last six years he was employed at the Aluminum Specialty Company, Manitowoc.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James Hallada of Manitowoc; a son, Francis of Manitowoc; a brother, Joseph of Watertown and two grandchildren. Mrs. Wolfram died in 1941.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
