(1916 - 1975)

Donald E. Woods, 58 of 1625 Orchard Dr., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Woods was born June 16, 1916, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edward and Lillian Peysar Woods. He was graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, with the Class of 1934. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. army in the Pacific Theater. He married Margaret Touhey Oct. 16, 1941, at Manitowoc. He was employed as a salesman for Kerscher Metal Service Co. of Green Bay. He was a member of U.C.T. and VFW Post No. 659 of Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Jay Donald, and three daughters, Mrs. Karl (Sandra) Konecny, Mrs. Daniel (Cathy) Shallue and Mrs. Dennis (Nancy) Rosinsky, of Manitowoc and two grandsons.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a wake service will be at 7 p.m.
