JOHN WUELLNER
(1872 - 1926)

John Wuellner, died at the Holy Family hospital early Friday morning after he had been thought to be on the road to recovery following an operatioin he had undergone Monday for appendicitis. Deceased had been in good health before Monday at which time he suffered an attack of appendicitis.

Mrs. Wuellner and son, John Jr., have been making an extensive tour of the west and were notified by wire of Mr. Wuellner's death. They arrived home Saturday night.
Mr. Wuellner was born in Mishicot February 17, 1874, having been fifty-two years of age at the time of his death. On July 2, 1900 he was married to Miss Helen Quistorff of Mishicot and the couple removed to this city where they have since made their home, Mr. Wuellner having been engaged in dance hall and soft drink business, being the proprietor of the Lakeshore Rose Gardens, South 10th Street, at the time of his death.

Besides his wife, five children survive him. The children are Mrs. Geo. Houghton, Charles, Lester, John Jr., and Christ, all of this city. He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. John Bobel of Milwaukee, Mrs. Charles Bunnell of St. Paul, Mrs. Frank Mosuch of Milwaukee and one brother, Christ of Menominee, Mich.

The funeral was held Monday morning from St. Boniface church, Rev. Kersten officiating. Interment was in Calvary.
