Mrs. Wencil (sic) (Mary Kubs) Zeman, 92, of Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc, formerly of 618 Jay St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Zeman, nee Mary Kubs, was born Aug. 15, 1883, in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late John and Mary Merek Kubs. She was reared in the Town of Franklin, Taus area, where she was educated. She was married to Wencel (sic) Zeman Feb. 9, 1904, at Kellnersville They moved to Manitowoc from Rosencrans in 1946. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 17, 1953. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society of St. Boniface and Western Fraternal Life Assn. Lodge No. 114.
Survivors include a son-in-law and daughter, Raymond and Agnes Sauer, of Ocala, Fla.; a brother, John Kubs, of Marshfield; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Kugel, of Oconoto Falls Nursing Home, Mrs. Helen Richards and Mrs. Dorothy Hanousek, of Antigo and Sister Lillian, of St. Anthony Convent, Neopit; five grandchildren, Mrs. Edward (Lucille) Wallander and Andrew Sauer, of Manitowoc, Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Brunner of Brillion, Mrs. Phillip (Annette) Ahrens, of Ellicot City, Md., and Mrs. Richard (Janet) Szlewski of Waukesha, 16 great grandchildren. Two brothers, a sister and a great great granddaughter preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday where a parish vigil service will be at 8 p.m.
