Mrs. Peter (Esther) Ziarnik, 71, of 1030S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Joseph Mattern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ziarnik, nee Esther Mary Andrastek, was born Sept. 30, 1905, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Anna Strzyzewski Andrastek. She was married to Peter P. Ziarnik Aug. 21, 1929, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death June 1, 1970. Mrs. Ziarnik was a member of St. Mary Rosary and Altar Society.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Delmar and Helen Ziarnik; two brothers, Bernard and Stanley Andrastek and three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Sobieski, Mrs. Newphrey (Clara) Check and Mrs. Alice Bonk of Manitowoc. A brother John and two sisters, Sophia and Cecelia preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. by St. Mary Rosary and Altar Society and a prayer service will be 7:30 p.m.
