Frank J. Zich Sr., 83, of 1229 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning, December 29, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Private family funeral services will be Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Zich was born Aug. 23, 1897, at Manitowoc, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zich. He resided in Manitowoc all his life where he married Lillian Zolk Oct. 26, 1920, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Prior to his retirement in 1965, he had been employed with Mirro Corporation. Mr. Zich was very active with Manitowoc Boy Scouts and had been scout master for Troop 6 at St. Boniface for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian, four sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Arline, Lloyd and Jeanne and Frank and Janice of Manitowoc and Lester and Gerturde of Two Rivers, 20 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

There will be no Monday evening visitation.
