Edward H. Ziebell, 70, of 1236 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, Oct. 5, at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay.

Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. .Monday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate. Cremation will follow at Jens Crematory.

Mr. Ziebell was born April 23, 1909, at Hilbert, Wis., son of the late Charles and Bertha Saeger Ziebell. He attended Manitowoc schools and was a World War II veteran, serving in the Armed Forces. He married Winifred Staddle July 14, 1945, at Milwaukee. The couple returned to Manitowoc to reside. Mr. Ziebell had been employed in the packing department at Gould Inc., formerly Imperial Eastman Corp., retiring in 1975. He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Winifred; two sons, Kenneth of Barnesville, Ohio, and Allen of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Paula) Fredrick of Manitowoc; two brothers, Clarence of Phoenix, Ariz., and Charles of Neenah; a sister, Mrs. Laurie (Dorothy) Robertson of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Winifred Staddler of Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Staddler, 1121 S. 12th street, is engaged to wed T Sgt. Edward Ziebell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ziebell, 953 N. Ninth street. Ziebell is in the Philippines with Co. E of Manitowoc.
