JACOB ZIMMER
(1860 - 1937)

Jacob Zimmer, 77, died at the Holy Family hospital Thursday evening after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m., from the St. Paul's Catholic church with burial in Calvary cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Leschke funeral home from Sunday noon until the time of the funeral Monday.

Mr. Zimmer was born at Manitowoc Rapids in 1860 and lived here for 41 years. He became a resident of Wausau and remained there for 35 years. For the last seven months he has been making his home with his niece, Mrs. Joseph Sieracki, 2610 Calumet avenue. He married Anna Schultz in 1900 and she died in 1918.

Survivors are two brothers, Nicholas and John Zimmer of Manitowoc Rapids and one sister, Mrs. Mary Ruth of Manitowoc Rapids.
