Alberta M. Schroder, age 78, of Newald, passed away May 30, 2009, at Iron County General Hospital , Iron River, Mich.
She was born Nov. 7, 1930, in Newald to the late Frank and Mary (Brunette) Jobelius.
Alberta married Everett Schroder on Oct. 24, 1953, in Laona. He preceded her in death March 16, 1995. She worked for Schwartz's Manufacturing Co., Two Rivers. Alberta loved animals, camping, to shop and read. She will be sadly missed.
She is survived by sisters: Audrey Raasch, Newald; Frankie (Leroy) Koch; Shirley (Danny) Duvall; Jackie (Dale) Schultz; sister-in-law: Sharon Jobelius, Newald; Canine Companion: Mischief. Further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by her parents, husband: Everett; one sister and four brothers.
Entombment will be in the Knollwood Memorial Park, Manitowoc, on Thursday, June 4, 2009. A praryer service will take place at 10 a.m. in the Knollwood Memorial Park Chapel. Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
